Go, the 3,000 year old east-Asian board game has been a serious interest of Nick since 2005. It should be noted that while Go is largely unknown in the U.S., Go players far outnumber chess players worldwide, and it is still one of the last few strategy games of which computers cannot yet beat top players.
Nick has gained fame within the U.S. Go community for his dozens of free YouTube Go Lectures, of which over 1,000 go players subscribe to. These 1-hr lectures primarily contain lessons from his weekly class at the Seattle Go Center. Nick has attained the rank of AGA 4 dan.
